Chap 9: Step Seven Multiple Flow of Income
*These are just my thoughts and summary, all in my own words regarding this topic so I may omit some information that was taught in this book or course.
In this chapter, Grant tells you that to attain real financial independence you need to create multiple flows of income, instead of just replacing your current job with a higher-paying job.
He suggests that your second flow of income should be closely related to your primary source of income, so that they compliment one another and easier to manage together.
Grant explains that you need discipline to reach to the point where you're able to make big plays that would create more and bigger income flows as he summarizes everything he did and what you should do as well:
"First, increase your income, then add to your income by starting a second symbiotic flow, expanding on that thing you are already doing. Bank all additional money so that one day you can make investments. Know that you are investing in until it is not a gamble or a risk but a sure thing! This investment should create new flows and new wealth which will allow you to make new investments that will create additional, more passive, flows of income while never taking attention off the earlier ones."
